Notices have been served upon the following owners or occupiers in Sussex Street: Overall, Norman & Co, No 52; Gray and Gray No 62; B & N Corrigan & Co, No 112; H Lane No 114; Foley Bros, No 113; Jno See & Co, No 129; J J Thomas, Manager, HR NSW Co, No 147. There is one enclosure: a copy of the notice given to Mr H Lane. Attached is a report by George McRae, City Building Surveyor, who writes that the signs are objectionable and unsightly, but are not dangerous, and cannot be dealt with under the 29th or 78th section of the Act, and advises referring it to the City Solicitor.
