Attached is a report of said language and conduct signed by witnesses William Moran and Laurence Mulry.

Excerpt from letter:
"Description of language and conduct of Alfred Barry, butcher of 132 Forbes Street towards Patrick Coyne at the Eastern Market on Wednesday morning November 22nd 1893.

"You Irish bastard". "You bloody dynamiter".
"I would not trust you with a pound."
"You bloody spy. You were there for the purpose of stealing every thing that you ca lay your hands upon."

He then threatened to "knock his (Coyne's) fucking ribs in." and would have struck him with a saw which he held in his right hand had it not been for an employee named Moran coming up at the moment. he then said to Moran "are you one of the fucking Irish bastards?" and threatened to smash in the door of the refrigerating room with an axe and said that "Old Seymour and Kelly could stick the refrigerating rooms up their arse."LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
