I am compelled to bring to notice the state of my wharf in Johnstone's Bay through deposit from your Bowman St. The ballast was blinded with ash and every downpour causes large deposit on my wharf. My neighbour, Mr Yeager was similarly affected until he diverted it onto me. Kerbing & guttering will prevent further damage. Notes: HJD; to city Surv.
