Bring under notice, most offensive odour and uproar of dogs barking at night. Premises adjoining Oddfellows Hall in Castlereagh St, a hospital for diseased dogs. Notes: S Lees: report at once. RS: inspected this morning, premises in occupation of Mr Maine and yard perfectly clean, but an offensive odour peculiar to dogs confined in cages and being treated. Have frequently inspected and brought to notce of City Building SUrveyor. Submit that in centre of city, should not be permitted and have given notice to proprietor of dog infirmary to remove everything, within 48 hours, and he has promised to comply.
