On 5 Oct 1897 we wrote about dues for sheep yarded several times, but not sold and paying dues every time. It was to be enquired into, and our constituent is pressing for a reply. We understand another Agent refused to pay dues more than once on sheep yarded and not sold, and yarded next sale day. Notes: JRP: look up previous letter, and refer to Insp for immediate report. HG: about Oct, a number of sheep yarded 3 times and yard dues paid on them, cannot see any rebate be allowed when owner chooses to yard 3 times before sale. MH: cannot allow rebate.
