Unique IDAG-0208DescriptionWith effect from 15 December 2003 the former CA 206, City Development and City Projects (2002-2003) was split into two new agencies, CA 208 City Development II, and CA 209, City Projects II.

Following the re-amalgamation of South Sydney City Council with the City in early 2004, CA 207, Asset Management & Compliance, was absorbed by this agency and it was renamed City Development

The main continuing responsibilities of the agency have been: architecture and urban design, project management, public domain and infrastructure strategy.

In the organisation chart issued at 30 June 2008 the programs of this agency were shown as: Project management, Design, Buildings, Open Spaces, Streetscapes.

Merged with City Property (CA 242) in 2012 to form the new division City Projects and Property (CA 253).CreationCreated as City Projects [II] by General Manager's e-mail to all staff, 15 December 2003. Briefly renamed (City Development [II]) in 2004-2005.
