The reports were typed on loose pages and then filed in a binder. They are not signed.

The first meeting concerned proposals by the NSW Housing Commission for high rise developments in the Waterloo area. The meeting was held in March 1974 and was chaired by Alderman Keith Challenger, Chairman of the Planning and Development Committee. The speakers included the Mayor Alderman Bill Hartup, Neville Wran, then Leader of the Opposition, Laurie Brereton, then Member for Heffron, Jim Cope, Member for Sydney and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Jack Bourke, representing the Housing Commission, Neil Ingham of Planning Workshop Pty Ltd, and members of the resident action group for the area.

The second meeting, held on 28 April 1974, concerned State Planning Authority proposals for the Erskineville/Newtown redevelopment. it was also chaired by Alderman Challenger. The speakers included Alderman Hartup, Mr J Falk and M George of the State Planning Authority, and officers from Council's Planning Department.

The third meeting, held on 13 May 1974, concerned a development application to erect a hostel for unmarried mothers and pre-school community centre for Aboriginal people at 77-85 Eveleigh Street, Redfern. This meeting was attended by the Aldermen, Town Clerk and residents.

The fourth meeting was called in response to residents' complaints about pollution from the garbage incinerator at Waterloo. It was addressed by Aldermen from the Council, Laurie Brereton, Council's solicitor, and residents from the area. No date is recorded for this meeting.

All of the meetings included question and answer sessions at the end.
