The register listed notifications made by registered medical practitioners for patients residing in the Erskineville Local Area.

The register contained the following information set out in the Schedule B format: date of report; name of doctor reporting; patient's name, sex, age; disease; addresses of residence where onset ("attack") of illness took place. Other details recorded were: municipal ward, milk supplier, school, and sewerage service relating to the infected party; and what disinfection or other preventive measures had been carried out. Included a brief patient note. The types of disease recorded included Scarlet Fever, Diptheria, Scarletina, Plague, Typhoid, Enteric Fever.

Cases under Schedule H of the Public Health Act from 06/03/1902-10/09/1935 were listed in reverse chronological order in back of volume.

Contained loose documents including a Council Minute Paper, Notifications of Deaths from Infectious Diseases and Health Inspector's Correspondence
