These events included the Bicentennial Concert Band Tour 1987, the Bicentennial Ball 1988, the Centennial Ball 1989 and the Lord Mayor's Command Performance 1990. The albums contained colour prints as well as some newspaper clippings, menus and leaflets.

It is not clear why the contents of this records series were never placed in the main Civic Affairs photograph file (CRS 904), where images (including albums) of similar events such as the 1992 Royal Tour are to be found.
