It is located in a two storey rendered and painted sandstone building, with slate roof, four dormer windows and four chimneys. In the upper storey window at the far left is birdcage. On the side of the hotel awning is advertising for KM David watchmaker and jeweller. Next door to the hotel on the right is branch number 3 of P Teague all goods store selling food, chocolate and coffee in a single storey building with a canvas blind (listed as Patrick Teague pastrycook in the Sands Sydney, Suburban and Country Commercial Directory, 1906).
