Electric light hangs over heavy entrance door over which is the sign Mary J Napier. To the left in Bridge Street is John White, a Ship Broker. On the right in George Street at number 246 is the chemist shop of Norton Late Senior with the British Coat of Arms over the doorway, and to the right again is a tailor shop.
