A twin turreted edifice with battlements and having a central tower with a wrought iron balcony and flag pole. Outside the arched and fan glazed entrances stand a horse and carriage and a horse and cart carrying lumber. On the right, on the corner with Sussex Street is the Magnet Hotel at number 25. The Schnapps sign on the opposite corner is the Star Hotel at 21-23 Goulburn Street. On the left at number 35 is Morgan Brothers, a general blacksmith.
