Inaugurated five years ago, the Sunday afternoon musical entertainments commence the winter season to-day at the Town Hall, with Isador Goodman conducting an augmented orchestra, assisted by special artists. Next Sunday afternoon the entertainment will be headed by Frank Coughlan, Trocadero dance band leader, who will conduct a specially enlarged orchestra. The present series will consist mainly of the lighter type of music, hoping to attract more people. Mr Frank Coughlan, as well as the orchestra and the associate artists, will contribute their services and proceeds will be devoted to aid the less fortunate members of the musical profession who are without employment.
