As there have been numerous complaints from stall holders and growers using either the George Street Market or the Hay Corn and Cattle Market concerning the By Laws and as the Committee has had insufficient time to reconsider the By Laws regulating them, it is recommended that the markets be retained for six months in Council hands. It is recommended that the Market Wharf and the Water Fountains at Hyde Park, the Dockyard and Soldiers Point be let by public auction under the same terms and regulations as at present with some provisos.
