Appended: Letter from John H Clayton, 136 Pitt St, forwarding a plan showing Nickson St and lanes; Memo from AC Mountain, City Surveyor, drawing attention to unapproved streets being set out on the west side of Bourke St between the Pawley and Nixon Estate by John Clayton of Pyrmont; Petition by John H Clayton on behalf of residents and property holders in and about Nickson St Surry Hills offering a parcel of land, 3 feet by one hundred feet, purchased by them for the purposes of drainage; Letters from John H Clayton; Petition from ratepayers and residents in Cleveland St, Crown St and neighbourhood, for the forming and guttering of Nixon [Nickson] St and Lane, at the rear of Gartmore Terrace etc [see separate entry for signatories]; Scale tracing of Nixon Estate, subdivided May 1877, showing Crown, Nixon [Nickson], Bourke and Cleveland Sts and lanes, and Gartmore Terrace; Letter from John W Bashford, Kendall St, Moore Park, seeking levels for Nickson St as he is about to erect a terrace there; Scale Plan showing land offered for drainage: Bourke St, Nickson St, Cleveland St and lanes, with allotments of Thos Nickson, Reuss and J Clayton, and Matterson's Cleveland Inn.
