Master of the Ship "Raby Castle" , N. Scott writes about his supply of water being stopped from the Water Fountains. He felt that, as his ship is under Charter to the Government to convey the remainder of the 77th Regiment to Calcutta, it was considered a Government Ship and, as such, entitled to draw water from the Fountains at Circular Quay. As the ship sails tomorrow he has been forced to take water from Fenwick's boats. He encloses a letter issued from the Office of the Commander in Chief in Bombay to the effect that his ship should be regarded as a government vessel.
