He is writing to the Mayor and Aldermen "from the fulness of our hearts" to request their support for the establishment of the "Loyal British Order", the aim of the order being to overcome sectarian and religious differences and, among other things, "to form an order of Loyal British men, to move only in support of our 'Home and Colonial, Constitutional Government of Great Britain!'.... these are the aims and objects of the 'LOYAL BRITISH" ORDER"! All hail the day! When all may act as one, With hearts of oak, to rally round the Throne; Millions of strong, fearless voices raise, One joyful shout! as in the byegone days; Great Britain's pride, her sons, on land,or sea, Unconquered still! -- Unconquered still shall be""!
