Machinery has been operating well but he warns that general repairs to the boilers and pump chambers will need to be made. He reports on the quantity of water drawn in the quarters ending March 75 and March 76 noting that the latest quarter has seen a reduction in the amount of water required. Even so he warns that new storages need to be built as "the demand for City and Suburbs will be daily increasing, and a few years must elapse before any scheme adopted will be enabled to be of any practical utility as far as 'actual supply'".LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
