Requests a report in response to their letter of 21 August last. A report dated 30 October, of the Chief Engineer's findings in respect of the fence is on the back of the letter. It appears that the fence was an original condition of the lease from the Government with a purpose of protecting the bathers from view. He observes that removal of the fence will expose them to view.
