He advises that the only plumbing work required during the coming year is the repair of service pipes damaged by workers on the streets and in laying new water drains. He advises that in such situations the nearest plumbers are called in, that the costs are not high (not exceeding £17 or £18) and that he does not think it practicable to meet this by specification and that it would be better to continue to employ the nearest plumber.
