(Note: With reference to the letter from Messrs Lorrimer, Rome & Co re rubbish in right of way at the rear of their premises No. 34 O'Connell Street, alleging that the chief delinquents are the occupants of adjoining premises as envelopes addressed to Messrs Garrick & Co No 30 O'Connell Street had been picked up from the heap. I have the honor to report that Messrs Lorrimer, Rome & Co had contributed largely to the accumulation in proof of which a number of envelopes addressed to that firm had also been noticed by the officer who inspected and reported on the nuisance.
