Watson, Proprietor of the Paragon Hotel, Circular Quay complaining of damage to the footway caused by a sewer bursting. As this was due to inadequate street gullies it is a matter for Council. Minute from City Surveyor saying City is not responsible as the gully was constructed by the Government in woodpaving Circular Quay and if it had been constructed with Council approved materials it would not have been damaged.
