Thomas Rigby, 4 Allen Street. Complains of state of footpath in front of Pains Terrace, Nos. 4, 6, 8,10, 12 Allen Street, Ultimo. It is the only place in the ward that has not been asphalted. A tenant wrote to Alderman Landers about 5 months ago and notice was served on the landlord to no effect apart from the tenant having the rent increased. Notes: Referred to R W Richards, City Surveyor, who reports that some time ago the Council served notices upon the tenants to have the work carried out, and the alderman of the ward requested the notices be withdrawn.
