Messrs Mansfield Brothers, Architects, who have the supervison of the building have informed them that the cause is due to the lock of the water main in George Street leaking badly. Note by R W Richards, City Surveyor: if it is a leakage as stated, it is a matter for the Water and Sewerage Board, however he has issued instructions for the street waterers using the lock to exercise especial care.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
