Manager, Ally's Brewing & Wine & Spirit Company Limited, Charlotte Place Church Hill, Sydney complaining about the proprietor of the Bondi Aquarium parading a band in the street and causing an accident by frightening the brewers lorry horses causing a great deal of damage. The horses had been tethered and the brakes engaged on the trolly. He wants to know if the Council approved and who will pay for the damages. Enclosed is a newsclipping describing the accident. Report from Inspector of Nuisances attached advising no By Laws were contravened as the Council has no power to prohibit travelling bands of musicians playing through the streets and therefore cannot take any action on the matter complained of.
