Secretary, Board of Health, 127 Macquarie Street, Sydney to Town Clerk enclosing copy of report from Water & Sewerage Board in relation to the complaint of the sewer discharging into Darling Harbour at the foot of King Street. Attached report states that inspection reveals no current problem but previously a dead animal washing ashore had caused a problem. The Council has undertaken to board up the end of the wharf to prevent this happening but this work appeared not to have been done. Annotation cost of sheeting £45 recommends the Mayor approve to be done by day labour. Approved and City Surveyor notified.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
