A William Allner also appeared but the case was postponed because the Mayor had received a report and wished to look into whether or not the case should be proceeded with. Mr Seymour cited previous offences by Mr Allner including eviction from premises in Margaret Lane where he kept an "improper house". On this basis the Mayor decided that the case should be proceeded with. Mr Allner was fined £2 with costs of 5/6d.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
