He encloses an account for damage to a ladder caused by negligence by the driver of No 3 watering cart on Darlinghurst Road at 11.30 that morning, and gives a detailed account of how it happened. Attached is an account for £1.0.0 damages; and a report by Richard Seymour, Inspector of Nuisances, that the driver of the watering cart, James Gleeson, states that the accident was caused by Mr Poole's horse taking fright, and that the ganger reports that Poole and Gleeson have came to an amicable arrangement.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
