Unique IDAG-0235DescriptionAt an extraordinary Council meeting of 18 September, Council resolved to amalgate CA 229 SSCC Planning and Building Committee with CA 231 SSCC Works Committee. This newly formed Committee absorbed all functions of the previous two committees. Functions such as overseeing development and building applications, subdivsions and strata subvisions, regulations and policies, statutory and strategic planning, traffic and pedestrians. It was also responsible for overseeing departmental maintenance and the acquistion and development of land or buildings other than for park purposes, street construction and drainage, engineering works, cleansing, fruit barrows and licensing of footways in conjunction with outdoor eateries. It was also responsible for managing the Council's parking facilities including the Moore Street parking area.

This Committee met on the first and third Wednesday of each month at the hour of 6:30 pm at Council Chambers, Erskineville Road, Erskineville.
