Unique IDAY-0120DescriptionThis activity covers the management of the Town Hall as a public venue. The Town Hall has been extensively used for public events since it was first opened. In recent years the balance of public uses has changed, with less emphasis on public meetings to discuss subjects of social or political importance, and more use for commercial functions such as clothing sales and promotional launches. The Hall continues to be used for entertainment events and some political meetings (especially by the ALP).
