Unique IDAS-0412Start dateBetween 1st January 1989 and 31st December 2012Start date qualifiercircaFormatManila FolderDescriptionThis series consists of agenda papers for CA 41, Finance Committee III, 1989-1993 and CA 142, Corporate, Finance, Properties and Tenders Committee, 1993 + (formerly known as Finance, Properties and Tenders Committee and Finance Committee IV). The item titles in this series correspond with the Committee's title of the time. A House Sub-Committee was established in 1989 which reported to Council through the Finance Committee. The agenda papers and reports of this sub-committee are also found in this series.

The present blue coloured cover of the agenda contains the list of issues and subject matters, including attachments, scheduled for discussion at each meeting. From 7 February 1994, a table of contents indicating the item number, with specific file number, and pagination has been included in the agenda papers. Initially meetings were generally held fortnightly but over the years the distance between meetings has increased. There are occasional gaps in the sequence which may possibly be due to members taking holidays. The agenda papers in this series come in a mixture of bound and stapled formats.

The Agenda Papers are distributed to members of the Committee prior to each meeting. This series is not a record of the discussions of each Committee meeting but a record of the subject and correspondence discussed. The Committee then makes recommendations to Council based on these discussions which are found in CRS 7, Minutes of Council, 1842+

Agenda Papers are archived the year of the meetings. However, confidential papers, coloured copies and large attachments to the Agenda Papers are later added to the Series - sometimes 4 to 5 years after the meetings have been held. Even though there are usually two sets of Agenda Papers originally archived, only one set of attachments are later archived.

This series is suceeded by CRS 1192 from 13/2/2012.
