Applicants: Burns Philp & Co; Freeman & Son; Sanders & Co per JB Spencer. Appended: Letters from Burns, Philp & Co, Agents for Australasian United Steam Navigation Co, as occupiers of Lime St Wharves, seeking to decrease congestion in Lime St by erecting an office (a small structure on wheels) on vacant Council land at end of Day St enabling vehicles to move out of Lime St and receive receipts there; Letter from S Freeman and Sons, Carrington St, Wynyard Square, to erect shed adjoining bulk stores being erected in Allen St, Ultimo for manufacture of soda crystals; Memo by Geo McRae, City Building Surveyor; Letter from John B Spencer, architect, Scott Chambers, Pitt St, to erect a repository for Sanders & Co in Pyrmont St, Pyrmont exceeding the limit of the Act by some 22 squares and to erect longer areas; Memo by Geo McRae, City Building Surveyor.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordNo
