Appended: Memo from Richd W Richards, City Surveyor, October 1892, suggesting that a southerly extension could be done by day labour as the roadwork could use spoil and old material in stock but giving an estimate of cost if work performed by contract; Letters from the Royal Agricultural Society, F Webster, Secretary, (January, 1896), describing traffic arrangements in the vicinity of the Society's lands, the Show Ground, Centennial Park and the Randwick racecourse etc and requesting a road extension to Centennial Park; Memos from Richd W Richards, City Surveyor, with details and costs of road extensions southerly to Centennial Park Road and northerly to Park Road; Scale tracing of area bounded by Victoria Barracks, Reserve & Park Road (north), Randwick Road & Moore Park (east), Centennial Park Road (south) and Grounds of Rifle Range, Association Cricket and Agricultural Society (west) showing formed roads and proposed roads within those boundaries; also shown are some buildings, Kippax Lake, Mt Lang, dwarf wall and dates of dedication of Reserve and Cricket Ground.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordNo
