Bring your attention to a nuisance in Hunter St to be remedied. We recently purchased corner block bounded by Bligh, Castlereagh, Hunter Sts. extending to house occupied by Mrs Phillips, newsagent. Premises adjoining, Messrs Schroeder, Mandelson & Co are livery stables with a frequent flow of liquid manure, with no channel to carry it away, it causes a stench for our tenants here, especially during fine weather. Notes: HJD: Insp'r of Nuisances. R Seymour: attended with Mr Baker, & the landlord, in attendance, he will attend to same. Also issued an official notice.
