For information of the Mayor, the Engineer in Chief for Harbours and Rivers reports that the Princes Stairs is not dilapidated and dangerous as alleged, was repaired and painted last year. Mr Darley adds that a larger structure should be provided as this is the most prominent and important landing place in the Colony.
