Forward proofs of Glacier Labels for Street Lamps, sent by Messrs McCaw, Stevenson & Orr. Quoted prices for supply of labels. Their Sydney agents, Messrs Sandy & Co can supply information about affixing labels. Notes: RWR: have tested, by fixing to a glass, and will make a valuable institution to the City At present Counicl pays 1/9d to burn names of streets and attach to gas lamps. These vary from 1d to 3d each so Council can judge the saving, appear equally servicable as the glass panel, recommend 30 for George, King & Pitt St be affixed as an example of what may follow.
