Richards, 86 Dowling Street, Moore Park, Sydney to The Mayor complaining about the nuisance of city rubbish carts passing his property and causing offensive odours leading to his tenants giving notice. There was a road made for these carts which they have apparently stopped using. Report from Inspector of Nuisances advising that the changed route is shorter and the road better and that the carts passing should not cause an odour. He agrees however that the carts appearance is not attractive and has previously suggested covers. The carters loitering was due to using the shady spot to lunch and water their horses.
