The Mayor to the Town Clerk regarding Henry Bent, Rag Merchant, Hay Street, Sydney being summonsed for having filthy rags on his premises advising him to postpone case for a week and provide him with a report. Report attached advising due to location in the City the rags which come from tips are a danger to public health unless thoroughly fumigated which is not taking place. Report attached from City Health Officer agreeing the rags are injurious to health. Note. Agreeing with report and matter to be dealt with forthwith.
