Each deed packet contains only one document, although there may be several documents relating to the same transaction. The deed packets show the CRS (Council Record Series) number, the deed packet number, the document number, the address, the name of the development, a description of the document, the names of the parties involved, the instrument (document) date, the expiry date, and the related file number in CRS 326, General Correspondence Files, RCS (Records Control System) Computerised Series.

The papers are housed in acid-free manilla folders.
