The street frontage has been boarded off for the safety of pedestrians. Horse and carts are on York Street and the domes on the QVB roof are visible. A woman is walking, holding a baby. Ladders are leaning against the wall in York Street beside the business of Sack and De Jabet who were shipping providores. Part of a sequence of photographs taken to record alterations to the building in 1917-1919.
