Work is in progress with brick walls getting higher and bricks stacked ready for use. Building in the background was occupied by TM Goodall built between Hay and Engine Streets and is almost demolished. Along the Hay Street footpath is a gas street lamp and horse trough opposite Kimber Lane. Moorfoot Brothers building on Parker Street and A and A Hordens water tower are in the background as is Hendersons Sweets. Bell tower to the right is on the Eden Studios at 725-731 George Street.
