At the far left located at 805 George Street is the pastrycook HM Wilson. Arthur Liddys Railway hairdresser and tobacconist shop is at 803 George Street. In the Austinlee Building at numbers 797 to 801 George Street is the shoe shop belonging to Joe Gardiner. RB Orchard a Jeweller, Watchmaker, and Railway Timekeeper is at number 793. Santamaria Brothers fruit shop is at number 795. The Crystal Palace Hotel is just visible at the right and is located at 789 to 791 George Street. A bicycle is at the kerb and pedestrians are on the footpath. This area of George Street is where the extension of Quay Street will exit.
