Richard Taylor and his family were owner-occupiers. The buildings next door at 20-22 Queen Street were declared unfit for human habitation and council served a notice on Henry Childs, the absentee landlord. He remained unresponsive and his buildings were demolished in 1912. Five young boys loiter outside the roofless building. A number of doors lean against the wall.
