There is a sign for 'H Holland tailor' above the front door, and a gas lamp post out the front. There are people in the street, including a group of children with a handcart. The photograph was taken in circa 1912, shortly before buildings on this street were demolished to make way for the expansion of the Tooth's Kent Brewery. The replacement building here was designed by Spain & Cosh in 1912 and is now a heritage item.
