Graham had failed to pay rent and his lease had been auctioned to Hardy for a lower amount. Appended: Letter by James Byrnes, Parramatta, in which he states that Graham is a salesman and partner in D Campbell & Co's business in Melbourne, and should be made to pay. Annotations by the Town Clerk as to agreements made by Byrnes; Letter by James Byrnes detailing his financial situation; Memo from the City Solicitor, Rd Driver, to the Town Clerk, recommending the acceptance of Byrnes' offer to pay £50.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordNo
