Appended: Letters from Goodin stating his loss of revenue caused by heavy rains destroying market gardens, in turn reducing the supply of produce to the markets and to licensed hawkers, resulting in a severe drop in dues payable and also the effect of the transfer of leases from butchers to fruiterers in the York Street Market shops who have not paid and may not be liable for dues according to the by-laws regulating those shops; Memo from John Carruthers, Clerk of the Markets, informing of leases of the York Street shops to Mr Griffiths and Mr McKeown, fruiterers.
