Appended: Letter from Rowe & Spain seeking permission for alteration to premises of Callaghan & Son; Memo from RH Brodrick, City Building Surveyor, pointing out proposed alteration would have name signs of Callaghan & Sons on three sides of the awning of the portico, a form of advertising being discouraged and recommending signage be allowed only on the street side, similar to that permitted to the Imperial Hotel, Wynyard Square.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordNo
