Appended: Report of the Improvement Committee recommending the alteration to the sewer line as recommended by the City Engineer, the City Surveyor and the Building Surveyor; Memo from Francis Bell, City Engineer, Thomas H Bradridge, City Surveyor, and Edward Bradridge, City Building Surveyor, recommending that before buildings be erected by Watkins the sewer should be relocated to obviate any future damage to either the sewer or the buildings and noting that Watkins has intimated he is willing to perform the work at cost price; Letter from William Watkins, Haymarket Buildings, notifying that he is not a party (contrary to the Order of Business of Council as advertised) to an agreement to bear half the cost of the relocation of the sewer.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordNo
