Appended: Letter from Edward Flood, Blackwall Stores, Circular Quay directing Council's attention to earlier letters and to work currently being done by men engaged by the Government in extending Macquarie St; annotation by Thomas H Bradridge, City Surveyor; Copies of earlier letters by Flood drawing attention to the "malformation" of Macquarie St near his stores; Letter from John Rae, Department of Public Works, with a copy of a report by the Colonial Architect prompted by communications with Flood and stating the necessity for the level of the kerb and guttering to be altered as it has caused the contractor to cease work on the wall and railing being erected by the Government and will expose the Government to a compensation claim.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordNo
