Appended: Memo from Edward Bell, City Engineer, with specifications and estimate for those works and also for Francis St and Pitt St near the watch house; the report and estimate for William St East near the bridge at Rushcutters Bay contains details of work done under the superintendence of Mr Langley, Surveyor to the South Head Road Trust, which allegedly threatened the part of the bridge within the City boundaries, actions taken to remedy this by Mr Parker at Bell's direction, subsequent failure or re-opening of disputed channel perhaps by the flood waters in the storm of 10 February, inadequacy of gullies built in the bridge outside the City Boundary.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordNo
